I've heard of it and that's a good thing. At the time someone was telling me it was awesome they didn't tell me what it was about. I would hazard a guess it is very worth watching. If you'd like a shorter car-awesome show to watch watch ex-Driver

Anime about regular stuff doesn't peak my interest, but Capeta has really good animation and is a great underdog story. The racing scenes are well-done. I think you'll like it.

I tried reading it a long time ago, very many Initial D vibes, with more technical closed circuit race- related lingo.

Capeta is good. Sometimes a bit inaccurate, depending on the sub, but very fun.

Caught the first 20 episodes or so, and it's fantastic. By using an outsider child as the main character it becomes a pretty solid depiction of the extremes of race drier psychology. It's really about what it's like to lose through no fault of your own, even in the face of your own extreme effort, and to come through that stronger.

Is there a particular sub source you recommend?
